TOMMY LEE's 'Rok Bar' In Miami To Open In Two Weeks
March 12, 2004Former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee is one of the co-owners of the much-hyped Rok Bar in Miami, which was expected to open last Tuesday, but has once again been delayed, according to The Miami Herald. "Perhaps Lee was too busy hanging thistight with Naomi Campbell, P. Diddy and Lenny Kravitz at 6 a.m. Monday at Pure," the paper writes. "Although the Rok Bar space was completely empty last Thursday night when we attended the opening of Vita, the cool new Italian restaurant across the street in the old World Pie space, people were inside working to complete the decor, which includes oversized tattoos on the wall and Lee's drum kit perched high above the bar in a loft that's accessible only to Lee, who will occasionally jam in the late hours. Look for the bar to open in about two weeks."
